About Us

To support Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and the citizens of Ukraine, SolarPower Europe, and the German Solar Industry Association (BSW), the Ukrainian Solar Energy Association (ASEU), are coordinating the ‘Solar Supports Ukraine’ campaign to finance the installation of solar on schools and hospitals, solar off-grid trailers and solar powerbanks. Financial and equipment donations will be used to buy solar equipment, pay for installations, and other works which are urgently needed on site. BSW

As an industry association the BSW has been representing the corporate interests of the solar and solar storage industry in Germany and important foreign markets with competence and commitment for over 40 years.

SolarPower Europe

SolarPower Europe is the European solar industry association representing over 280 members across the entries solar value chain in Europe and beyond. Our mission is to ensure that solar is the leading energy source, powering our energy security and climate ambitions.

Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (ASEU)

The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine is the largest specialised association of the solar industry in Ukraine, which has been protecting the interests of participants in the “green” energy market for more than five years; it promotes the development of solar energy in Ukraine. Association member companies have built over 3,500 MW of solar power plant capacity in Ukraine and across the world. The association is an active member of the European solar association SolarPower Europe and the Global Solar Council.

This year ASEU member companies installed solar PV systems on 2 Ukrainian hospitals, helping to provide an independent electricity source during the power outages. At the end of September 2022, the ASEU in partnership with the German company BayWa r.e. Global and SolarPower Europe provided mobile hospitals with trailer based PV stations combined with battery storage systems.
