What happens after donation is made?

SolarPower Europe will receive all the donations which will be accounted for separately within SolarPower Europe’s business account. German Solar Industry Association (BSW), SolarPower Europe and the Ukrainian Solar Energy Association (ASEU) will jointly select projects and beneficiaries in Ukraine for the donations made under this fundraiser. Some of these beneficiaries will be presented on our campaign’s website (link). The projects include but are not limited to: the purchase of solar off-grid trailers, portable solar panels, solar chargers, solar powerbanks, energy storage batteries, inverters, PV panels and mounting systems. BSW, ASEU and SolarPower Europe will carefully channel connected and legally established charitable foundations, like the RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation, to lead the implementation and coordination of the identified projects.

SolarPower Europe will perform the appropriate due diligence procedures to make sure the donations received are used in a transparent and purposeful manner.

Every 2 months, SolarPower Europe will provide structured updates on the use of donations for the projects identified. You may follow these updates on the fundraising campaign's dedicated website (link) or the dedicated GoFundMe page .
